Description
A unique and delicious drink, it offers a taste of Chinese culture in every sip. Made from high-quality tea leaves with an herb Nuo Mi Xiang that smells like sticky rice, it produces a light greenish-gold liquid with a complex, floral, and slightly mineral taste. Popular among the Bai people in Yunnan, it's a great way to experience Chinese tea culture and a unique flavor. Enjoy the convenience of this tea, pressed into mini tuocha shapes and individually wrapped for your convenience.
Ingredients: Yunnan large-leaf sun-dried, aged, fermented tea, Nuo Mi Xiang (herb)
Origin: Yunnan Province
Net weight: each mini tuocha 0.2 oz (5g)
Storage conditions: store in a clean, ventilated, dark, dry and odor-free environment
Shelf life: suitable for long term storage under the storage conditions
Brewing
Traditional Method (Gongfu)
Vessel: Aged tea requires a yixing teapot.
Water Temperature: 90°C (200°F).
Brewing Time: 10-30 seconds.
Steps:
- Rinse and warm the teapot/gaiwan and cups.
- Rinse the mini tuocha with a quick infusion. This is done to saturate the leaf with water and allow it to decompress.
- Brew and serve.
- For every additional steeping increase time by 5-15 seconds.  

Modern Method
Vessel: Teapot or mug with infuser.
Water Temperature: 90°C (200°F).
Brewing Time: 4-5 minutes.
Steps:
- Place mini tuocha in the teapot/mug.
- Steep and enjoy.

Puerh tea can be steeped up to 20 times.

 

Note
- Experiment with the amount of tea leaves and steeping time to find your preferred strength of brew.
- Each tea piece is individually wrapped to maintain shape and freshness. Please remove the wrapper before brewing.
